Liza Jackson Athletic Mission Statement
To provide a competitive and developmental athletic program while promoting and embodying the ideals of teamwork, sportsmanship, hard work, self-discipline, and commitment. We believe developing the student-athletes’ character through a positive and supporting environment increases self-confidence and performance and is, therefore, an essential part of personal success.
To participate in any athletic program at Liza Jackson, students must have a minimum 2.0-grade point average and the 2023-2024 Sports Participation forms on file in the Athletic Department. Physicals are good for one (1) calendar year from the date of the physical, and all other paperwork must be redone with each school year. When turning in forms, please keep a copy of the forms for your records.
Any student interested in trying out for a sport must have all their paperwork turned in to the Athletic Director before they may participate in any practices or tryouts. All athletic tryouts are closed to parents, guardians, visitors, and other spectators. Only students participating in tryouts will be allowed on the field or in the seating area. Thank you for following the guidelines.
